LABOUR'S EMPTY PROGRAMME

Yesterday was the last Queen's speech before the General Election. This was the shortest Queen's speech since 1997.
David Cameron said in his speech to the House of Commons yesterday 'They've run out of money, run out of time, run out of ideas'. Gordon Brown said he will legislate to halve the budget deficit; however there was not one single new measure mentioned to make this happen. Gordon Brown says he wants to clean up politics; however no new legislation was mentioned, against the advice of Sir Christopher Kelly. Gordon Brown has announced free personal care for only a fraction of those most in need, again with no mention of how this will be paid for. This was a nonsense speech, with no time for most of the measures to be passed into law.
